PickMe, Sri Lanka’s popular taxi hailing and delivery platform, recently hosted its annual loyalty rewards event – Nena Pahana – for the eighth consecutive year.
The event was designed to support the education of school going children of PickMe’s high performing third party drivers. Over 4,150 students have benefited from the programme so far with more than 650 students receiving gift vouchers to assist with their school supplies this year alone.
PickMe says it has invested Rs. 20 million to date on this campaign with an additional 7.5 million rupees allocated for 2025.
The initiative is part of PickMe’s broader benefit and welfare programme through which drivers enjoy various forms of support. Beyond Nena Pahana, PickMe offers life insurance packages, mobile communication plans, fuel and vehicle maintenance discounts, and cash rewards for students excelling in major exams.
