Emirates has launched its latest Airbus A350 aircraft in Sri Lanka, bringing a new level of air travel to the Colombo-Dubai route.

This introduction reinforces the Emirates’ 39 year commitment to the local airline sector. Equipped with innovative interiors and cutting-edge technologies, the A350 now operates to and from Sri Lanka six times a week.

A standout feature is the introduction of Premium Economy on this route, offering passengers an upgraded travel experience vis-à-vis large seats with adjustable headrests, footrests and generous reclines, along with 13.3 inch screens and in-seat charging points.

The A350 boasts three cabin classes with 32 Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats and 259 Economy seats.

It also provides improved cabin comfort, ultra-responsive touchscreens, wider aisles and fast WiFi throughout.

Emirates began operations to Sri Lanka in April 1986, and has consistently supported the country’s tourism industry and export sector with passenger and cargo services.
