Sabina Yousaf was crowned Mrs. Sri Lanka World 2025 at the grand finale on 3 October, held at Sirasa Stein Studio in Ratmalana.
She will represent Sri Lanka at the international Mrs. World pageant – the oldest and largest global beauty contest for married women – offering winners a platform to showcase their talent, poise and advocacy.
South Africa’s reigning Mrs. World 2024 Tshego Gaelae graced the event and served as the head judge, which highlighted the international significance of the local pageant.
Gaelae arrived in Sri Lanka on 29 September – her first visit to the country since winning the world title.
Yousaf brings a unique blend of experience and life perspective to her new role. She previously competed as Miss Sri Lanka in Europe in 2016, beginning her journey in pageantry at the age of 16.
Over the years, she has balanced her personal, professional and academic growth, while advocating that pageantry goes beyond beauty to embody purpose and resilience for married women.
Sabina says she intends to champion women’s empowerment and community development initiatives while representing Sri Lanka internationally.
